Southwest Soccer Club (Southwest Soccer Club) collects information to provide better services to our athletes and their families. We collect information in the following ways:
- Information you give us: When you register for a program, tryout, or camp, we ask for personal information such as your name, email address, telephone number, and payment details.
- Medical Information: For safety and liability purposes, we collect player medical history and emergency contact information via our secure registration portal.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect from all of our services to provide, maintain, protect, and improve them. Specifically, we use it to:
- Create and manage player rosters.
- Communicate practice schedules, game times, and club news.
- Process tournament entries and player passes with Cal South and US Club Soccer.
- Contact emergency medical services if a player is injured during a club-sanctioned event.
Information Security
We work hard to protect Southwest Soccer Club and our users from unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure, or destruction of information we hold.
- We encrypt many of our services using SSL.
- We restrict access to personal information to Southwest Soccer Club coaches, managers, and administrative staff who need to know that information in order to process it for us.
Media Consents
By participating in Southwest Soccer Club matches, tournaments, or training sessions, you consent to the capture of photographs or video for use in tactical review or club promotional materials (website, social media). If you wish to opt-out of promotional media, please contact the Director of Operations.
